The Youth Education & Sports Initiative

Nuria and her collaborators have launched a pilot program for low-income youth that combines two key elements:

Academic Support — guiding students toward stronger learning outcomes and encouraging them to stay focused on their studies.
Sports Training — offering opportunities in highlighted athletic disciplines, where teamwork, discipline, and perseverance are taught on and off the field.

This unique model helps participants build not only academic and physical strength but also essential life skills such as resilience, leadership, and responsibility.

Values at the Core

At the heart of the initiative are three guiding principles:

Family Connection — strengthening ties between young people and their families, ensuring they have a foundation of support.
Character Building — teaching values that last beyond school or sports, such as integrity, humility, and perseverance.
Long-Term Growth — providing opportunities that prepare youth for success in both personal and professional life.

Nuria believes that every child deserves the chance to succeed, no matter their circumstances. By pairing education with sports, she creates an environment where young people can thrive both academically and personally. Her vision is to foster a generation of confident, capable, and compassionate individuals who can give back to their communities.

This is just the beginning. Nuria’s goal is to expand the program, reaching more youth across communities and continuing to refine the model. By doing so, she hopes to create a ripple effect of empowerment that extends far beyond the program’s first participants.
